MindPet Web App
The Interactive e-pet web app project promotes a balanced lifestyle by providing reminders for rest, activities, and healthy habits. The project involved conducting UX research, creating a comprehensive design system, and wireframing.

Overview
Being a student can be tough, and self-care can easily be forgotten with a heavy course load. But we've noticed it's often easier to ensure our pets eat on time than to prioritize our own well-being! That's why we created MindPet, to help you care for your pet while reminding you to take care of yourself too.

Problem

Students often neglect their health and well-being due to academic pressure. However, failing to maintain a healthy lifestyle can lead to issues such as stress, fatigue, and decreased concentration. Tight schedules make it challenging to find time for self-care, adding to the pressure. Encouraging students to prioritize their health, even for a short period, and to manage it enjoyably can have a significant impact on their overall well-being and productivity.
Solution
MindPet app provides a platform for students to maintain a balance between health and academics by interacting with their e-pet. The e-pet accompanies students until graduation, allowing them to chat and stay up to date on assignments and exams.
Take care of the e-pet. Feed, play with, and put it to sleep.
Chat with the e-pet using the OpenAI API.
Add to-do list items and get reminders when it's time to start studying.
Design Thought and Process
MindPet is designed with a pixel art concept, taking inspiration from the Tamagotchi style motif.
Moving Forward
There are several functions that were not completed due to time constraints. Ideally, we would have implemented a login system and established a database for remote and long-term storage, along with off-app notifications. Additionally, animations were created for our pets; however, we encountered technical difficulties integrating them into React.
